High frequented, fast paced road with the possibility to go in every direction. But no luck for me.
Stood right before the highway entrance and also brought some 3-400 m between me and the entrance.

Stood right before the highway entrance, talked to drivers at the gas station (very few ppl stopped there) and also brought some 3-400 m between me and the gas station. It seemed to me that most people were headed north or eeast towards istanbul/ankara.
Tried to sign/thumb/ask around.

it's a good spot, cars weren't driving that fast to me, but I had to wait quite long - about 30 mins. Then a car took me to Inegol

Possible to hitchhike to all directions, just find the road signs of your destination.
My experience on this spot was always good. But it may be tricky. heavy traffic with many local cars, but locals cars can take you further, use that chance.

take a bus to Bursa Sehirlerarası otobüs terminali. walk back to the main road, cross it and follow the road until you see the shell gas station.

Good spot to Izmir and south. There are not so many cars but you just have to wait until you will find someone to Izmir. You can also ask the drivers directly. There is also a bus station directly at the spot.

Catching to Bursa is the easiest way, cars driving fast, but have place to stop, on places before os used only for locals, taxis and buses

We were a couple around 20s and wanted to go to ayvalik. In general, three cars stopped , two for balikeshir and one to bursa so we went there. we had a sign also that said ayvalik/bursa.
