Went there with the bus (157/158-3) after I wasn’t successful on the city highway. Left the bus at the stop under the highway bridge and walked along the paved way towards the rest area. It’s fenced but the gate was open and three men also entered there. I stood with a sign saying Aksaray/Adana at the exit of the rest area and after five minutes a truck with the destination Hatay took me.―Anonymous

Perfect, on the highway with lot of safe space to stop. Make sure you make sign with Antep, Antakya or Adiyman, you can catch long rides here.―Anonymous

If you're planning to go westside, Mersin or even further, you can hitchhike from this point. This is the entrance of the highway near from the first class apartments. So it is safe to make hitchhike because they will try to understand you. But on other points they may not trust to you. So here is good!―Anonymous
