In no time I got ride to medyka border crossing however my driver told me that if I will wait for his wife to cross border I will be able to get to lviv with his wife's friend so I did it. However at the Ukrainian side I found out that she doesn't have a car and we ended up hitchhiking together to lviv itself or more exactly she ask someone near the border and he took us. If I knew that I would probably cross the border just after coming to medyka and then hitchhike to lviv by myself but in the end I got to lviv and it was something totally knew to me―Anonymous

one of my favourite ways to catch a car — waiting for cars to slowly exiting a patrol station. a lot of cars here are going towards ukraine/lviv/smth else, really nice spot. good in any time of a day―shulpit

Direction Ternopil' Тернопіль. You can get here by mini bus called marshrutka маршрутка 36, 68, 75 to Vynnyky Винники. From here you can also walk behind the bypass M-06 (E40). It could be better place.―Anonymous

we were also waiting there for quite some time but eventually got picked up by policeman who drove us little further to the petrol station with more traffic and plenty of space to stop, we got a truck ride there further on...there were some other people going north, got picked up pretty fast, plenty of space to stop...good luck:)―Radi

We were waiting 3 hours for a ride to Kiev or Rivne, but no cars stopped. Maybe a better place to hitchhike is further down the road where the M-06 continues.―Anonymous
