Don't take any of the taxis after the border but just walk until there's no people and start hh. Not too many cars but some trucks. Road is horrible but they're building a new one currently. Took me 9 hours to reach Kungrad by truck. Should be a bit faster in a car. Bring some snacks and water.Border was easy on foot. They usually let you skip the lines if they see you're a foreigner. Took me an hour all in all.
