It is a good spot, plenty of space to stop. But it is a bit hard to communicate with the drivers here, maybe better to have a sign. Be picky, though, because you do want to make it at least to a gas station (not just to the toll booth). A guy before us got a ride straight to Faro (Algarve), we got stuck on the toll booth shortly after.
