Great spot going in the direction of Turin, Milan and even more. There's a traffic light where I asked people with a sign "Bologna", there is plenty of space to pull up right after the traffic light. The entrance of the autostrada is just few hundreds km ahead, cars must pass here. I waited 2 minutes and a guy stopped but he was doing only 20 min on the "strada statale" so I kindly declined, came back to the spot, and another max 2 minutes a guy shouted "are you going to Bologna?? Come with me!" You can try some "long shot" as there's lots of people coming to this region for all kind of stuff related to the mountains around, (my ride was a mountain guide who just climbed mount blanc the day before) and many people from Milan, Turin and everywhere in central Italy.
