“It seems to depend whether gas station personnel sends you away or not. I was once told to stand behind the gas station, but other times it was no problem standing in front of it. Either way, a good place to catch a ride to at least the first gas station on the A1 towards Germany.”

“Very good for directions North. Directions west and east are more difficult. Shell gas station with personal saying you can't hitch from the gas station "Shell regulations" and rather have to stand somewhere else. I would suggest first (making trouble) and continue anyway, if they really start to threat then stand right at the entrance (or at the exit) of this P- place.”
