What hitchhikers said along this route

“Great spot towards Maribor (MB), Celje (CE) and Graz (Austria). Stand next to the highway sign, it's a very popular spot. Arrive there by taking bus 6 to station "Smelt" (Direction Crnuce), from there continue straight and you will see the highway on your right.”

“going to Austria via this place is totally senseless! I was there over 2.5 hours, then a car stopped and I couldn't care less where it was going., I just wanted to get in at any cost...”

“Great spot to hitchhike towards Vienna, two guys got a car in 5mins.”

“Space is limited and the cares are going to fast too stop. Took us 3 hours to get a ride towards Maribor.. but at least we got one.”

“Very popular spot, but not enough space to cars stop to take you into it.”

“not enough space but it´s a good place”

“Good place - allot of cars - not enough place( a car blocks the road). I was hitchhiking to Zagreb(Croatia). Got a ride to Novo mesto in 30 min(sunday morning). From a highway gas station Dol, na Griču,...you can continue with other drivers. For Maribor and Vienna, I would recommend a bus station at the end of Šmartinska cesta.”

“As I revisited the place to hitchhike to Celje few days ago I wouldn't recommend the place any more as I did in the comment before. The place isn't safe for a car to stop. A lot of them are speeding and if one car stops they can cause a road block or an accident. Since I saw I couldn't get a ride there I went to a personally favourite place at the end of Šmartinska street. Bus number 2 - last st”
