What hitchhikers said along this route
“famous hitchhikingspot in direction south. often crowded. easy to reach by metro. make a sign with "peage" or "orleans".”

“Excellent spot. An algerian man passes by at around 7:30am on his way home from work and he gives all the hitchhikers a lift. So get up early ;-)”

“...just don't try to get a ride on the wrong side of the road... :S took me 4 hours... stoopid Australian!”

“I walked more down the entrance, where is actually enough of space for car to stop. I wrote A10 I think and something like the first car stopped me. I was going towards Spain. I was alone and it worked perfect for me! Official you are not allowed to stand there, but it's safer than elsewhere.”

“looks a bit dodgy at first, but it's not to bad. (2016) try interacting with cars waiting at the traffic light. We got a Ride to Orleans within 45 min. Try to got to at least the next aire the service, you don't want to be stuck at a random paris-exit, better wait a little longer then :)”

“Probably one of the best spots to go south of Paris, towards Orléans. It is often crowded, but I rarely had to wait.”
― Lepoucedalex, Mon 2013-07-08 · Boulevard Romain Rolland, Paris
“yes, a very good place to go to the South, we stood around 30 minutes and caught a car who drived 4 of us. cars have to stop on the traffic-light before this spot so their speed is slower there.”
― Tommie.tailor, Sun 2013-09-15 · Boulevard Romain Rolland, Paris
“when we tryed to find this place, we didn't succeed. May be because of repairation work on the road. We spent 2 hours and than moved to another Hitch-point”

“One high spot to go south of Paris, quite bad in comparaison with Villabé (dir Lyon/Marseille). but it can save you when there is non more RER... You need to move a lot to attract and interest drivers.”
― Anonymous, Fri 2013-08-02 · Boulevard Romain Rolland, Paris
“If u want to catch the highway til west part of france, you will have less sucess because of the traffic and the lack of place, cars don't drive on the right side so they are far, and go direct on the périph exté”
