“From Paris to the A1 (motorway to Calais or Belgium). My friend was asking the cars at the petrol station and I was standing with the cardboard saying "Lille" and "A1". There are two petrol stations in 30 meters, but not a lot of people seem to go to the motorway from them. Despite of all a car took us after 30 minutes. To get here you can catch a metro, line 1, to Port de la Chapelle (1,50 euro).”

“We were trying to get a ride to Belgium in the afternoon after having no luck elsewhere on an entry to the highway. First guy we asked in the Total station was a Belgian driving to Antwerp and wiling to taker us along. Maybe we were lucky but as far as I know it's the best spot to go to Belgium in Paris:)”

“We were with 3 couples, all of us got out within the hour. One of us was asking at the petrol station the other one at the road with a sign. There is road construction going on, but it is still possible for the cars to reach the A1 quit easily. Lots of 'foreign' traffic, it was a Sunday in a holiday weekend.”
