What hitchhikers said along this route

“I agree with Jurarafal, I waited here for 45 mins and nothing, the roundabout further down is better.”

“No longer! Go further on. Pass the roundabout & there is a perfect lay-by”
― Jurarafal, Mon 2011-09-26 · Wrocław
“2011.08.10 It seems so be the best option to hitch on th road number 5 (to Poznan...) at the moment. At the moment cars have a lot of space to stop on the speeding up lane. There is work further on the road and cars/trucks wont have much space to stop and they will not see you from far way.”

“In my opinion better than the spot further, because the cars go slower because of the traffic lights.”

“Kierowcy zatrzymywali się na światłach, i nke chcieli stąd zabierać. To ostatni punkt przed wjazdem na S5. Poszliśmy za rondo.”

“In my opnion good spot.. a loooot of cars going around! I recommend a big sign and someone will pick you up!”
― FilipG, Tue 2024-08-06 · Wrocław
“Not a bad spot to get out of the city. Got a ride to a nearby gas station towards Poznan”
― baku, Mon 2023-04-10 · Wrocław
“A lot of traffic here. In my opinion better spot than on the highway ramp. Cars have to stop for the red light. Also the driver can turn into the paraller road next to the stores to safely get on.”
― Gafa, Wed 2025-05-07 · Wrocław
“After nearly an hour with no one stopping, I moved to the highway ramp. (sign Olesnica, Lodz, Warszawa). Cars can go in so many different directions, and the traffic lights are likely sensor-based (or precisely timed), so they do not have much time to look at your sign or stop.”
― martih, Wed 2026-08-19 · Wrocław
“A2 motorway toll booths. You can hitch from here in both directions towards Berlin or Warsaw. There is a bus 108 from Ogrody in Poznan to Dopiewiec (village nearby)”
