Heading to Sarandë and got a ride from a French couple within 5min.This is a roundable so cars are slow. Plus, it's where two roads meet: the road from Himarë-Sarandë, and the road for cars going Sarandë without going through Himarë. There are coach busses going from both roads, so worst comes to worst, you'll catch them

Waited up the other points for some time, came here cause it's directly to Sarande/Gjirokastra, got a ride fast - from taxist, but negotiated for free, great guyWere going from Durres and I think we could have got stuck in Vlore, so asked to drop us here

Cars are very slow here because its a hill after a intersection. But it was very low traffic but mostly because we were hitching late in the evening (~6pm). Also it looked like mostly local traffic in the evening. I would suggest going in the morning when all the tourists are going to the other beaches.―kiausiniuvagis

Maybe we didnt get lucky but there was only tourists cars going feom blue eye. Most of them were filled with families, so didnt have place for 2 people. But eventually very nice moroccan tourists picked us up to sarande. Also not much place to stop but traffic is low so its fine.―kiausiniuvagis
