Not a bad spot, but lots of local traffic. Occasional drivers going longer distances. A sign for Iran an I was picked up in half an hour.―Anonymous

Super spot. 4 colourful wanderers, we camped in Areni floodgate and came here at 11am brought by a friend's car to find a direct ride to Iran. After 5 minutes playing music and singing by smiley food vendors, two armenian trucks stopped for us and drove all the way to Agarak, which border i really missed since 2 years ago.We had signs to Meghri but they were really useless, as everyone would understand we're going as much south as possible. I'm in Samuel Hostel in Agarak, Iran will see me again in winter, going back to Georgia tomorrow!

Got a ride with an Iranian truck driver to Vayk, I think most cars take the other route via Goris though.―Anonymous
