Perfect spot to get a ride south or to Graz, it took me 45 minutes waiting. I had a sign with just GRAZ and on the flip side, SÜD. I tried asking around at the BP gas station just up the road for an hour and a half and most people were locals. I highly recommend this spot as it gives driver's time to see you and your sign, also there is some space for them to stop if they wanna pick you up, highly recommended! 👍―Anonymous

its best to stand a little bit further away from the on ramp just behind the first overhead bridge where theres a small space on the shoulder for a driver to pull in. mostly local cars but also a few Graz plates. people driving by were a bit stern but if you smile and wave theyll act a bit more friendly and you might convince someone to pull in who wouldnt have otherwise.―Leslie
