We were lucky to have met a guy from graz (big communist city in Austria) with a big van, where three of us could fit. He even took a slightly different route then he planned to get us to our goal.
Apart from that, the village soboth meets at 6pm to empty their garbage, next to the gas station. Loads of people comming over, but they all live around the area, thats why they dont take u nowhere. Loads of bikers drive that road too. The cows are very friendly and curious at that sopt

Waited before the split between road 70 and 92. Cars moving fast but spot to pull over. Maybe better luck further down the road

Agree, horrible place. Very few cars here and those that did pass us were all full. I guess on-ramps work better in Austria.

Been there on a July afternoon, waited for three hours for a car going toward the west. Very few people stop by this rest area!

On-ramp Volkermarkt West (289). Slow traffic and enough space for cars to stop.

Stood there for hours in the rain till my sign disintegrated. I then just used thumb and got a ride after half an hour. I tried to go to vienna. Maybe better in good weather.

During summer, there is many cars full of people driving towards Slovenia and further south, a couple to Graz and during our time there was only three cars with Italian registration plates. There is not an huge traffic really. After waiting with a sign Italy, waving for long, we were successful asking a man having a rest at the benches.

Waited hours in the evening, slept in the motel and the first driver in the morning took me to graz
