Stand a bit further, where the on and oframp split. There's a side rod there where drivers can pull in. Had a few offers for direction Brussels but I waited for a ride towards Lille and got it after 38 minutes.

Mostly local traffic. I wanted to get to Brugge. It took me 3 cars in the end. But anyway. You can try KORTIJK before and tham from KORTJIK is super easy.

We waited here for 4 hours until a truck stopped to take us to Lille. I have no idea if it was because of the time of year (October) or any other things. At the exit of the station there is a light pole full with comments from hitch-hikers that this is a terrible place.
