Sit on the south side of the building to catch the longway-drivers. We waited for about 30 minutes in the pleasant sunlight (and there are free bathrooms!) until a very pleasant driver approached us and took us all the way to Gent.

Good spot to HH towards Antwerp. Slow traffic and enough place for the cars to stop. I mostly get a lift in about 10 minutes.

Great place for hitchhiking to Ghent or Antwerp. Don't hesitate and ask people directly at the petrol station. They are very friendly and we got lift in 5 min, even though it was early in the morning and no big traffic.

Decent croweded gasstation. Standing at the end of the parkway, waited ~7 minutes for Gent.
Perfect for Antwerpen, Brussels, Gent and probably further like Paris

OK place to get a ride to anywhere in Holland. Many people going to Rotterdam, Utrecht, Amsterdam. We were at the exit for a while and didn't work all that well, but then asked around and got taken straight to where we had to be in Utrecht.
