Easy spot on the car parking near highway in direction of Germany close to the airport.There were no trains or buses to Cologne, the earliest would be in 4 hours, but I am impatient af. Saw it on Google map, came here, approached a truck with German plate numbers and got a direct ride to Cologne. Ez

20 to 30 minutes wait on a Wednesday morning (around 11am).I had a big back pack with me and 3 card boards. One with a "next gas station symbol", and the other 2 with Mons and Paris.

I got a lift towards Liege in 2 minutes. The spot is great, you can stand on narrow, heightened pavement separating the car park from the road. You'll be more visible with a sign―Enidvel

I hitchhiked on the parking and got a ride in less than 5 minutes.When flying to Finland, I was waiting after the check-in and just started asking people. I found a ride Turku - Helsinki. It saved me a lot of time and money
