Lots of cars going north, easy to stop. I had a sign with "North" on it and someone took me exactly where I wanted haha.

To get to Gent you can wait where the ramp splits. Plenty of room to pull over and trafic isn't flying.

Ideal cross-road for getting to 3 cities. Mechelen (E19), Lier and aarschot (E314)

To go to Brussels (South) or Ghent (West).

Direction Leuven, different possibilities wherever a car can stop, preferably after the train viaduc

Best spot to hitch towards Eindhoven, or Hasselt/Liege. Much space to stop on the bridge. A tramstop is only 200 meter away.
