We were not able to catch a ride here. Because of the political situation and a lack of petrol there was very few traffic. We were waiting over 4 hours and gave it up. 4 other locals tried to get a ride here too at the same time, so if you go hitchhiking, this might be the spot - direction Chile―simmelx
