if you go there early in the morning, just after sunset, there will be trucks who stayed there for the night. You can talk to them when they wake up and get a long ride.―Teeshirt

Going to Antofogasta from San pedro de atacama, we were droped at the crossroad (23 with 25) here by our driver. Bad spot on the highway. Car are driving too fast. We walked out a little further up to this place where there is an access ramp. Someone heading for the airport picked us up and drop us to a great spot out of town―Anonymous

When I was there the were some road works, so there was only one line and slow traffic.But it's not bad spot - there is a place to stop for cars and you are visible.
