A very good petrol station directly before the highway leaves Varna southwards. A Busstop is just next to it e.g. Tollibus 88.

Tried it once with six people. For two of us it was very good, the rest had to wait for over an hour. Retrospectively I would say: take the gas station a few meters north from here.

the road to Veliko Tarnovo and Sofia. quite good and popular place with lots of traffic.

Great place, for me it's the best hh spot in whole Varna (and I lived there for a year and hitchhiked a lot). I had to wait longer only once, when the spot was already in use by some young locals :)

much better place than before the bridge, as traffic splits here to burgas and to galata. even works in the dark.
