Police came twice and wasn't nice with us... a woman from the gas station warned us that it was a bad place to hitchhike because it was the place where people are kidnapped for human trafficking!?―Noplanjustchaos

Although a popular stop on the Montreal-Toronto way, the spot is straight on the highway and cars woosh by in insane speeds. However, long acceleration strech and wide shoulders, and one of the bussiest roads for trucks in North America! For hitchhiking to Toronto, position yourself by the highway itself with the intersection entrance on your left, so you're seen from both roads. Take caution though! Got a ride, from a truck, within 15 minutes, all the way to Toronto. Used a sign. Thanks Ross!―Anonymous
