This ramp is mainly cars going to the nextexit when going West, and mainly construction trucks when going East. 1 hour then I left.―Anonymous

Heading West, you will probably get a ride to Le Bic from there. Just hitch in front of the supermarket, there is a street light and a place where cars can safetly stop.―Anonymous

Le Restaurant du Pecheur: a regular stop, a very large parking entrance. Even if placed on the top of the hill, you can easily be seen if you are in the middle of the parking's length. Many long distancers stop there for lunch. Never waited more than 20 minutes there.―Anonymous

Heading East, good spot at the Petro Canada there, day or night it was fine―Anonymous

Heading towards Matane, too many cars, too many locals, too fast, even with the street light.―Anonymous

A little walk from town but more than worth it if you are heading West. Lots of place for the cars to stop and a street light so they see you really well.―Anonymous

Hitching from there to Mont-Joli, I suppose it's easier to hitch westward than eastward because of the way the ramp is made. When you try to avoid traffic going west, you're semi-legal but you won't wait much.―Globestoppeuse
