First hitchhike in Quebec for me !After the last big intersection of Talbot Boulevard in Chicoutimi, direction Quebec / Mtl.
Practical for the possibility of sheltering from the rain at the SAQ Sélection.

There are not that many places where to hitch from in Montreal, but heading towards Ottawa (40W) this might prove a good try. I got a ride in a truck going to Pointe Claire. Very good when there is a lot of traffic as people can see you in the distance. They were very surprised to see a hitcher there. It is a bus stop for bus 100, which you can board at Crémazie metro station.―Anonymous

Near longueil metro station, just before a ramp to highway, cars can easily stop. Cars are coming from Longueil, and from boulevard La Fayette.―Anonymous
