Hitched a ride to Lindsay at the intersection here, where people get off the high way. Ling light for people to stop at and safe place to stand. I waited about 5 minutes before I got a ride!―Anonymous

Destination: Toronto. Not the best shoulder for hitching, but most traffic on this road should be getting on the highway, so there's no need to walk all the way to the onramp. Traffic stops at the nearby traffic light, so drivers have plenty of time to see you.―Anonymous

Hitching south-west towards Toronto.Stood just before the no pedestrians/bicycles sign at the beginning of the highway. Police passed by a couple times and they didn't seem to mind.
A lot of traffic, good place to pull over just behind the sign. Got a ride to Toronto in 20 minutes.
