Best spot to hitch towards lijiang and dali. We used a sign and stood right at the corner off the roundabout and there is place to pull over as you exit the rounadbout. Got a direct ride to lijiang.―Mr.minefield

We started hitching in the morning and got picked up quickly by a coupple going to shangri la. Plenty of good spots along the road, and plenty of traffic in the morning to shangri la.―Mr.minefield

Lots of traffic and a traffic light. There is enough space to pull over but not perfect. We got a ride as a coupple verry quickly though.―Mr.minefield

We waites 27 mins and got picked up by a car going to lijiang. They where on holliday and changes their plans to drive me and my friend all the way to shabgri la. We used a sign. To get here take the C7 buss from dali old town all the way to the last stop.―Mr.minefield

From Shangeri-la to De qin(德钦）Best place .Why donot take the crossing with 214,.cuz our experience is stay away from the 214,few cars went Dexin from 214.cuz most of velihcle stay one night in Shangeri-la then go this awesome Spot ---up to the season.We went there a low season--Ages----But the bus sataion is near the spot.last bus leaving from Shangeri-la at 12am..If u cannot make a catr stop for u ,u can either back to the bus sation or stop the bus when u see it on that spot.BTW.No toilet around that area.
