This is a perfect spot in direction to Lefkosa/Nicosia. All cars passing this spot are going this direction. Easy to stop for the cars, there is also a bus stop. from the harbor you can walk to there in 15 min.

This is a Turkish military area, soldiers won't allow you to continue walking to St. Hilarion (because of "security reasons") so they will force you to hitchhike, and they will probably help you by stopping cars that go to the castle to ask if they can take you to the top.
