This is a perfect spot in direction to Lefkosa/Nicosia. All cars passing this spot are going this direction. Easy to stop for the cars, there is also a bus stop. from the harbor you can walk to there in 15 min.―Anonymous

This is a Turkish military area, soldiers won't allow you to continue walking to St. Hilarion (because of "security reasons") so they will force you to hitchhike, and they will probably help you by stopping cars that go to the castle to ask if they can take you to the top.―Anonymous

There is place to stop at the start of the highway and cars don't go too fast.―Anonymous

An easy way to go out of the city to reach Güzelyurt or Girne/Kyrenia. This is a bus stop where people can stop and bring you to the roundabound a few kilometers further.―Anonymous

Wait before the bus stop, plenty space to stop and plenty of drivers go either to nikosia or girne―Anonymous

Enough place for cars to stop here, but it's a highway and they're going quite fast, so you might wait a bit.―Anonymous

Not a perfect spot, but this is the only way from St. Hilarion junctino to Nicosia. There are place for cars to stop, but they are driving fast, so you must experiment with the exact location.―bemapoe

Common to stand at bus stops. Just stick out your thumb. North to Kyrenia (Girne). It's a straight shot.―Anonymous
