This spot is easy to get to from the city, but it took long to find a ride to germany. There were only 8 german cars in the timw we waited. (3,5 hours) and people from cz did not really want to take us to the next petrol station. This is a general experience I have had here, it is hard to get rides from czech people. We were with two people and found another hitchhiker who also slept near the same spot. Together with the three of us we found a ride to germany. The driver is going all the way to berlin. It might be nice to try out the bigger petrol station further along the road if you get stuck. There might be more international cars there.

Decent place for hitching out of Dresden towards the Czech border. A fair amount of CZ cars passing by. We were picked up by a couple going to Prague after about half an hour; they were not local (from Frankfurt), so it seems long-distance traffic passes through here. We stood at the bus station, where there is ample space for cars to stop. Traffic isn’t too fast thanks to the lights.―Kreft

To be honest, not the greatest spot, but the best, when it comes to car going from Prague to Slaný and you need to get to Chomutov. Ask around, you only need ride to Lotouš and from there it's easy. (Look up Lotouš place I created) Not a lot of cars stopping here, but you don't need long ride.―martih

Nice place, great for Prague, you can get here by train from main station in Brno, the station is Stary Liskovec. There is a hole, you can go through and then you climb a small bank filled with trash and you are there―Stokars

Were like yoooo the other guy just waited 20 minutes so this had to be a great spot - naah most people were not going in direction germany. Maybe because it was 6pm on a saturday. Well gave up and took a blablacar for 5€ to dresden💀. Also there were like maybe 3 german cars in the time I stood there. It was only people from prague. Not saying there was no traffic, there was good traffic, but not to my direction (Dresden).―Lili1919
