Not really a safe spot,but people can see you here and go quite slow, only disadvantage is that there is no good place to pull over, but always somebody stops for me.Sign adviced, people are much more likely to stop, becouse traffic splits just after you.

Nice one, I hitched from here multiple times and never waited for long. Sing advised or just go by thumb to Klášterec (next town), and there are cars going slower.―Anonymous

Place for hitchhiking to Nejdek. Behind the last building is an not really frequented bus stop. Cars are going slowly. Bus no.3 or 15 get you about 300m south of this place to the train crossing the main road.―Kafi

Good place direction Prague. You tak the bus no.6 to the terminal station Stará Kysibelská and accros the road you should see a gas station. I usually hitch about 200m before the gas station, where is an old parking place and farmers selling potatoes.―Kafi

To be honest, likely ileagal and not great, but worked multiple times. I would advise taking even short distance car and hitching from somewhere else. Not a great spot, but the best going from Ostrov.―Anonymous
