Easy to reach, a long bus stop with wide space for cars to stop and good visibility for cars (driving moderately fast). I thumbed without sign and after 10 mins got a ride to Brno, and dropped me at a good gas station directly on the highway (Lískovec) where I could very easily continue north to Prague.Seems like a very good place overall!

I was there for multiple times. My fav spot to Mohelnice. There is place to stop for cars. Kinda difficult to get there. You have to go with cars on roundabout.―Anonymous

Take any tram heading to Nova Ulice. Get off the tram either at the stop Fakultni nemocnice (hospital) or Pionyrska. Thumbs up on the main road heading to Prague, Bratislava or Vienna through Brno. Shouldn't take so long. Prefer cars that take you behind Brno in your direction.―Anonymous

From town center go through street Olomoucká and stay before some factory. Good for hitchhiking on 2pm, when all people from factory are going home. There is a lot of car, but not a really good spot to stay. You must stay at roadside.―Anonymous

29.5.2016, Sunday noon, 1 guy, to BrnoIt took me 2-3 minutes to catch ride directly to Brno. Lots of Prague cars were passing by so I suppose it won't be much more difficult.

Tried to catch a ride for an hour and half and was unsuccessful. One bright side of this is that you can get on a bus to Brno or anything in that direction if stuck for too long.―Anonymous

i was there twice, once with we were two people...went quite ok..1st time got a ride under 1 hour to Prague, 2nd time a ride to Brno within 45 mins...there is plenty of space for cars to stop, although they're already going little faster...―Radi

Got very lucky here, literally put my pack down and was picked up. Looked like a decent spot anyway with a large volume of traffic.―Looking for Stu
