Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the last gas station before Aalborg, if your ride is only going till the city and you need to go further you should stop here! I was trying to go to Hirtshals and the guy who picked me up missed this gas station; he was only going to Aalborg and didn't find any other station on the highway, he ended up driving me even outside of the city towards north but still left me in a very bad place in the middle of no-where because there was no gas station in sight and he needed to get back to the city. Actually I think there is no other gas station on the motorway till Hirtshals.This is a big station with place for shopping, restaurant and everything so you should be able to find a ride quite easily.

5 minutes wait for ride to Frederikshavn. Quite a good and busy hitchhiking spot. I did well getting a ride south on the other side as well.―Anonymous

15 minute wait, good spot, lots of trucks stop off here, also has nearby forest that could be a place for camping overnight.―Anonymous
