I was here early and there were mostly only Taxis. Like fore one normal car there were 5 tax drives. After an hour bus driver took me for free to malmo―Sova

As described it is a Great Spot for going to Kopenhagen. Stand exactly here with a sign and Show the appraching Cars from Sondre Ringgade on the Right and also the cars leaving the Gas station on the left. Got a Ride to Rodovre Train Station in about 10-15 min―JamonWithRamon

Perfect spot for getting farther South on the Continent. LOTS of European long-distance traffic. You can stand at the exit onto the highway, but I would recommend asking around. We quickly found a ride with a Swede going all the way to Belgium, who dropped us off in Hamburg.―Kreft

Great place for getting across the bridge to Denmark. Lots of Danish, German and Dutch cars. We asked around at the gas station and were quickly offered a ride to Copenhagen by a Czech couple.―Anonymous

Good place for catching a ride to Karlslunde (a great rest stop for those heading farther South towards Germany). There’s a lot of space to stop and you’re clearly visible.―Kreft

I did not even get to the spot by the road; I waved to a Porsche with a sign that read "SW," and he waved for me to come aboard. Dropped me at a decent spot in Malmo.―martih

I would just aim for Copenhagen; the traffic at this gas station going further north is pretty low. If you need to sleep here, there is an overpass, where it feels pretty safe. I was here early, and the traffic was low, but maybe you can find a better car from here.―martih

Going north, this spot doesn't feel so great, but it worked for me. I was looking for a car, taking the ferry when two guys pulled in, looked at the ferry prices, and decided to take the bridge all the way to Copenhagen. If going to Denmark, I would advise taking the A7 rather than the A1.―martih

Got very lucky with a ride after 5min waiting. Lots of space for cars to stop by the gas station. Convenient is also a traffic light 50m before the spot so they have time to see you. Got a ride directly to Aarhus, with the guy taking me to his house on the way to get some tools and also getting me a burger on the way. One of the nicest ride I’ve had―Thorwalker

Got very early, 1 hour before. Lot of heavy traffic to begin with so waited for “nothing”, but then got a car quite quickly. The guy was very nice and drove me all the way to Copenhagen while recommending me different spots.―Thorwalker

Got a lift all the way to Copenhagen. Good mix of local and international traffic. We got a lift by asking around based on the license plates.―Finn147

Great south but I don't think that there is a god spot to hitchhike ferry across to Germany further south so I decided to go through Jutland and took first offer in that direction―Autostopeks

Very good spot with a lot of traffic coming in waves from the traffic light down the road. Easy for cars to pull over in the dead end street before the gas station or in the gas station. Waited no more than 20 minutes before I got a ride to Aarhus. I was hoping to take the northern way with the boat, but we went west and then north from Jylland instead.―Anonymous

Got stopped by the police, apparently you can't hitchhike at the bus stop or at the small space that there's on the left side of the road―Anonymous
