To avoid Cayambe. Drivers get slower, but will not stop necessarily. I had a friend in company and we found a lift in 15min.Para evitar un paro en Cayambe. Conductores bajan la velocidad, pero no van a parar seguramente. En dos encontramos un lift en 15min.

There is the main road. Normally it just serves you to get out of Otavalo.Aqui esta la carretera. Normalemente solo te sirve para salir de Otavalo.

The road is easy accessed by walk from center. There is bus stop there both to south and north, good visibility for both driver and hitchhiker, space to park (from bus stop) ... but for some reason, even after 1h30, didn't manage to get a ride.―Julien4
