Not the best spot, as the cars are going fast here, but if you have a big sign, cars can see you from a distance. I had a sign saying EST and got a ride to Valga.―anettlee17

Since this is my hometown i can surely say this is the best place to hitchhike to Valmiera or Riga from Valka. Usually takes less than 30min here. No sign required since this road takes you only to big cities.―Anonymous
