I waited this only because I was ambitious and tried to get a straight ride to Helsinki so declined three offers to get to Jyvaskyla but took a fourth. And the lady took me even past the town to get started forward much easier. Good place slow traffic but a bit akward for drivers because they are turning but its fine there is plenty of space.―kiausiniuvagis

On the way north, waited with an Oulu sign. Got a short-ish ride to ABC Kirvaskangas relatively quickly. Not a perfect spot for cars to stop, but good enough. Walkable from the city center.―Uri
