Got stuck here for almost three hours waiting for someone going east of Lyon. Most people got to Paris here. Maybe better to come closer to Lyon to ask for a ride east.

we stopped here thinking it would be a good place just to find someone who would go further than lyon. got numerous proposals to vienne or st étienne before finding after more than 1 hour someone going to... rouen, which was our goal.

Lots of truckers were done with driving for today after 17o clock. Than a sad Polish trucker agreed to take us 2hours north, behind Lyon, which was good.

Amazing spot to start going upwards the Ardèche hills. A woman told me that hitchiking was easy in this area because there motto is « Ardèche coeur fidèle ».

I was initially waiting too close to the intersection. After 30 minutes of no success, I have moved further up the ramp, closer to the highway and I got a ride very soon after. I got past Vienne onto a bigger gas station.
