Third car stopped, with sign "A6 aire de lisses", very good spot to find a ride to the aire de lisses, where you can easily get longer drive. As someone said theres not much space for cars to stop, but if you're fast and you can jump in. There's also traffic lights where it might be easier.―Iaclem

We had a sign and waited just before the toll, there is space for cars coming on the right line to stop. I didn't enjoy hitching there, but you can't argue the results. I stood after the pedestrian crossing to stand out from the crowd, but I gues you could go before and ask the drivers waiting on the red light. I had sign "A10".―Chris9012

I would advise against hitchhiking here. Although there were a lot of cars, I waited a long time with a sign "A5 Sens/Troyes". There was a homeless man asking the cars at the traffic light for money, and there was no place for them to stop except there.―Thibaud

It takes a long time to get to the station, we walked 35 min from Sarges Les Le Mans after 20min of bus from Le Mans trainstation but this spot is perfect ! A really big station si it was quite intimidating to ask people at first but the third person we asked took us and even brang us to the train station ( not on their road). I waited there about 2 hours on a wednesday afternoon, but I think that it is pretty decent for Paris. Initially I had a sign with A10 / Bordeaux / Aire de Limours written on it, but then I switched to keep only A10 and much more cars stopped, until I was taken to the Limours gas station. I agree that it's a really weird spot and it was mostly locals but there's space to stand at the side of the turnaround (if a bit windy, also no shelter, so not a spot for bad weather) and cars can stop too. With a sign to Paris we (2ppl) found a ride to Aulnay within half an hour and from there taking the train into Paris proper was pretty easy (and cheap.)―thebeekeeper
