Waited quite a long, in bright sun. time with no cars stopping. Approximately 4 cars/min. At this time of the summer, it was mostly familly with cars full of people or stuff so I had no luck. There is a bit of space for the cars to stop. Not the best spot but it worked ok for me―Anonymous

Many foreign cars, but they didn't have space for two more passengers. We don't speak French, so we sticked with a good old sign near the gas station under a tree. Not an ideal spot for direction to Bordeaux. At the end we got lucky and hitched a nice french lady to Brive-la-Gaillarde.―tomasuv1toustik

Un soir de fin aout, seule (jeune femme). Pas beaucoup de passage, ni d'automobilistes allant dans ma direction, même en me postant vers la station service et dans la cafétéria. L'orage grondait, finalement, un couple avec deux enfants (mes sauveurs) ont pu m'amener jusqu'à Clermont-Ferrand, je me suis postée au bord de la bretelle de sortie. Ça reste je pense un très bon spot pour qui veut aller dir Bordeaux ou Lyon.―Paingauchocolatine

We litteraly waited 2 seconds showing our "Limoges" sign before a car that was going there just parked at the entrance of the Bakery Marie Blachère (we were two white people, one female one male).We were on the grass in front of the bakery (great deals to have a lunch break or just baguette ;))
We definitely were very lucky, but a lot of cars use this road so you shouldn't wait so long :)
On a littéralement attendu 2 secondes après avoir montré notre pancarte "Limoges" avant qu'une voiture qui allait là-bas s'arrête à l'entrée du parking de la boulangerie pour nous prendre. (En étant 2 personnes blanches, passing meuf et gars)
On était sur la pelouse en face de la boulangerie (qui a de bonnes offres pour une petite pause viennoiseries ou juste une baguette ;))
On a vraiment eu de la chance cette fois, mais beaucoup de voitures passent par là donc vous devriez pas attendre trop longtemps :)

Poucé en jour férié. L'endroit est pas mal pour aller en direction de Tulle. Le spot se trouve entre un rond-point et un petit espace d'arrêt ce qui laisse un laps de temps de décision aux voitures qui ne sont pas encore élancées, et peuvent se garer en sécurité plus loin sur le côté.―Paingauchocolatine

Deux filles, Poucé en jour férié, destination finale Clermont-Fd. Très galère de trouver une voiture allant dans notre direction malgré les avantages du spot. On a eu une voiture au bout de 45 min nous ayant avancé vers un carrefour pour ensuite prendre la route de Tulle. C'est toutefois un spot qu'on recommande, les circonstances n'étaient pas trop de notre côté.―Paingauchocolatine
