Easy ride out to A1 toward north and Belgium , some traffic and trafic light for cars to stop. Picked up in 20 with a cardboard that said A1. Should be easy to get north once you are on a highway stop―Anonymous

Best spot to go North from paris, a lot of Belgium cars and people going to Lille.―Anonymous

I already used this spot to go to Lille but it is not that good after all, a lot of people are going to the airport and you can get stuck. Try Aire de Vémars Est if you want to go north it is way better―Anonymous

Lot of passing cars, lots of belges and germans. I just wanted to go to Lilles and found easily a car. I didn't want to go there at first but we got a bit of a miscomprehension at Vemars so I stopped there and I'm thinking of using this spot again if I ever want to speedrun to germany and further north lol.―Anonymous

Waited at the exit with a thumb up and after a few cars the first lady who stopped took me straight to Lille.―Anonymous

A guy and a girl without a sign. We got there quite late, at 11.30pm, and tried to get to "Aire de Limours/Briis sous forge" south of Paris from here.Did not work at all : some people were trying to help us, but only went to morth-east of Paris, and there was no one there after 1am so we went to sleep. The staff was very friendly and offered us some pain au chocolat and hot chocolate because the machine didn't work well for us, and we could set the tent at the back of the restplace without anyone bothering us at all. In the morning we waited one more hour before somebody took us to Saint-Denis' train station, as everybody else ignored us.

Took us to champs-élysées. Good spot to go into the city, just ask around cars stopping to get gas and look for 75 license plates. 20min wait.―Voulez

Okay so we we arrived at Gare du Lyon at in the evening, got some kebab and continued our journey north. We knew about this station from the hitch south. From gare the lion we took the train to fosses and than a connecting bus to survilliers. The public transport trip took about an hour and costs 7,50 pp. We think it's worth the effort, considering the fact that we had a tent to camp at the station. From survilliers it's about 30 minutes walking through the industrial areas, which was quite scetch in the dark with all the cars racing by. Once we got to the petrol station we found a hole in the fence to enter the station, which was unnessecairy since there was also just a walkway a bit further. There are some nice grassy bushes to camp a bit away from the people on the station. In the morning we started hitching at 9 and after an hour we got a ride from this cool Canadian band all the way to Utrecht. Shout-out to Cola™️ for putting us on the guest list, you guys are great.―Artflix

Reasonable spot to go north. Hitchwiki Paris describes how to get here by train. Try to get a lift to the fuel station (e.g. from train station Survilliers-Fosses) and at all cost avoid going here by foot on the eastern side of the highway. There's no street and lots of mud. Believe me ;)―Kriechstrom

I don't recommend to come here from paris by bus/train. Took me 3 hours, got lost in Vermars and I payed almost 10 euros to get here. Try others sites do hitchhike out of paris. It took me 1 hour to get a ride direction brussels―Gustavobretz

A good spot. It takes about 25 minutes to walk here from Survilliers-Fosses station, so it might be worth trying to get a lift southbound to the services and then go through the tunnel (ref earlier post, I haven't seen the tunnel myself). 1000 times better than trying to hitch out of Paris.―Harvestmouse

We got a ride Brussels from here in 10 min. There are lots of trucks but first try the exit road for cars, two junkey took us, they were soooo high even sometimes they forgot we were on the back, but they were speaking English.―Astala27

Really big and busy gas station. We asked to over hundred cars before finding one that was going anywhere in Paris. We spoke both english and FRench, with no help. It felt like being in Italy, people just pretending they were not passing from Paris. 1:40 waiting time―Phidias81
