I thought maybe I was not going to make it, because the reviewed seemed to me that it was going to be faster. Maybe not towards Toulouse.

2 people stopped and offered but they were not going in that direction nor any useful (to a restin area or similar in the highway). One of the drivers gave me 20€ and a Sprite. That was nice 😅.

1 stopped before, but was going to Bordeaux later, so I didn't take it.

I think that the spot where I was it was quite good because I had in front of me the people going out of the petrol. So they could see me like eye-to-eye contact. And then also the trucks and the other people that didn't go through the petrol were going through my other side. So I could hitchhike with all of them and also have very good nice contact like eye-to-eye contact. And also they had a place to stop nicely. So it was a great spot I think.

We waited about 50 min to get a ride to Bordeaux. But already in the first ten minutes a women stopped, but she went to a village nearby so we decided to stay there.
A lot of cars stepping by. Cars can stop but it's not the best I would say. But it's comfortable to wait there.
We took the bus to the bus station Lavigerie.

We got to the gas station because a guy took us from a wrong spot where we started.
At the gas station we just asked the people at the gas station for 30 min until a very nice person took us to lyon.
On the way we stopped at a cheese store :D

I had a sign saying « Lormont » to get to the convenient roundabout there to get on the highway. I showed it to cars waiting at the red light for a moment a eventually a dad and her daughter took me and made a little detour for me

Got lucky again. Picked up Audi RS6 Avant dude was driving like crazy (I would as well with such a nice car) Overall I recommend this spot because it is a merge lane with red light which gives drivers enough time to think twice to pick you up ;)

In short time I saw a Deutschland car and tried my luck. I asked politely in German if they had a spot for me. a

I don't think that I would get this ride without knowing German so know your languages! ;)
