this seems the best way out of Paris without standing on the side of the road. We were 3 people, so we wanted somewhere good. as others say, you can access it via a bus. walk to the end of the wall and through some bushes and voìla. we got a lift to Aire de Ressons, an hour or so north, towards Lille. there were lots of people here.―Alifeee

we were unsure about this one, but fairly quickly someone stopped and took us to Porte d'Italie in the South. We were trying to get to Lyon eventually. a few other people were going other directions.―Alifeee

we were heading for Paris. after not so long, someone stopped who was doing van delivery driving towards Paris. they kindly dropped us right off of the Périphique in Paris.―Alifeee

Easy ride out to A1 toward north and Belgium , some traffic and trafic light for cars to stop. Picked up in 20 with a cardboard that said A1. Should be easy to get north once you are on a highway stop―Anonymous

I already used this spot to go to Lille but it is not that good after all, a lot of people are going to the airport and you can get stuck. Try Aire de Vémars Est if you want to go north it is way better―Anonymous

There is a lot of traffic, but the traffic light is really fast. The people are not very nice and don’t easily give rides to strangers. However, some people are kind and might offer you a lift."―St0up

Attente inexistante. Plein de gens sortaient de la boutique. Le premier couple à qui j’ai demandé m’a pris!―Anonymous

Not to much traffic, plenty of space to stop. Got a direct ride to Paris.―Anonymous

A guy and a girl without a sign. We got there quite late, at 11.30pm, and tried to get to "Aire de Limours/Briis sous forge" south of Paris from here.Did not work at all : some people were trying to help us, but only went to morth-east of Paris, and there was no one there after 1am so we went to sleep. The staff was very friendly and offered us some pain au chocolat and hot chocolate because the machine didn't work well for us, and we could set the tent at the back of the restplace without anyone bothering us at all. In the morning we waited one more hour before somebody took us to Saint-Denis' train station, as everybody else ignored us.

Nice spot to go north if the door is open (it was in my case). A lot of local cars but it is possible to find someone for lille―Anonymous

It takes a long time to get to the station, we walked 35 min from Sarges Les Le Mans after 20min of bus from Le Mans trainstation but this spot is perfect ! A really big station si it was quite intimidating to ask people at first but the third person we asked took us and even brang us to the train station ( not on their road). It is hard to access but it’s worth the walk―Lulin

Had a sign "Paris". It's not a huge service station but there's some traffic.―Anonymous

Cars are going very fast, for us not even ten minutes past,
before a friendly driver slowed
and added us to his load.
This spot is good for Beauvais
or anywhere north on your way,
just be sure to bring a sign
and youll leave paris in no time :)

If you want to get on the A13 towards Normandie this is the only good spot. Stand on the sidewalk and hold a sign saying A13. Cars can stop on the right lane or drive off the road next to the parking garage.―Voulez

Took us to champs-élysées. Good spot to go into the city, just ask around cars stopping to get gas and look for 75 license plates. 20min wait.―Voulez

Not incredible but not that bad for a spot to exit a big city. But we’ve been super lucky and have been taken after 1h by a Flixbus straight to Paris !!!―Anonymous

It seemed to be the best spot (under the bridge bus stop). Waited 2h till someone picked me up and went to Lille. Lots of homeless people around the place.―Baulius

The first car I asked was a lovely Parisian family who took me to the suburbs of Paris from here.―Anonymous

Worst spot I've ever been to. Place is hard as fuck to get there, I almost fell multiple times cause the ground was all muddy. There was no traffic at all and people don't go north to far, the closest I found was Charles de Gaulle with a sign marked "A1"! I'll never go there again.―Anonymous

Standing there (2 people) with a sign over an hour, and many who stopped went only a very short distance until one was willing to take us to the Aire des Ferrières.―Anonymous
