I waited so long because we were 4 Autostopper. Really good spot for going in a lot of directions. You can ask for Paris/ Strasbourg/Nancy and you'll find somebody.Good resources in Gas station. It has Toilet, Power outlet and big entrance for many people.

Definitely to avoid if trying to hitch to Luxembourg or Nancy. Most car will go straight. Better to arrange a hitching place in north south direction along A31

Make sure to stand at the west point of the roundabout near the gas station building, not anywhere else. But generally it's a good station to get to the German border or Paris―Anonymous

The gas station serves both sides: Most cars go to Paris, some to Strasbourg.I tried to go to Nancy and I did not find anybody during 3 hours.

As the description said, most of the cars are heading to Paris. If you are going towards Strasbourg or Germany I wouldn't say it's an ideal spot. Take initiative and talk to the drivers to have a better chance of getting a ride―Anonymous

A lot of cars going to Paris direction and to Luxembourg. For sure good to have sign. After hour and something I was lucky and got a lift all the way to Munich.I was standing at the exit but not the ideal place, it's right after the round about and if car stop there, it blocks the exit, probably better to ask people in front of the gas station.

Many cars are going to Paris, some to Strasbourg and less to Germany. We were standing there longer than 1.5 hours, but found the car to Wroclaw. It was like magic (1000 km). So maybe you will be lucky also. Traffic are really good―Anonymous
