il y a de l'herbe et une sorte de trottoir autour du rond point où les voitures peuvent s'arrêter// there's grass and some sidewalk around the roundabout where the cars can stop

you'll need this if you get stuck across the road... it'll quite easily get you back towards Metz.―Anonymous

Well, you can probably hitch from here, but I refuse to believe that any of those (rare) cars go anywhere where you'd want to be going. I ended up here by mistake bc I fell asleep, and what I did to go to Strasbourg was run across the motorway, hitch back to Nancy and Metz and then to S. from there... detour of around 350km... NEVER GO HERE!―Anonymous

Try to get out at the gas station btw Nancy and Lunéville. I didn't and thumbed between a skelleton painting having a STRASBOURG sign on the crash barrier.A couple took me to the bureau de péage behind Sarrebourg.

If you got stuck here, wave a lot, show the drivers, you only need little distance or maybe make a Sarrebourg sign. Then you can get out of here before dying ;)―Anonymous

Evening on a workday, busy traffic. We (2) stood at the sign "cédez le passage" on the D331 with a sign LUNÉVILLE. A lot of folks go to Nancy but we found a car after 10 minutes. There is a space to stop on the little road at the first exit.―Anonymous
