for us, it was not good. we were 3 people and we waited 5 hours for a lift down the road to Aire de Nemours. if you are alone or 2, it is probably better. two women turned up while we were waiting, they waited 10 minutes for a lift south. it is pretty easy to get to from Paris though.―Alifeee

Last stop on the highway to change to the A77, to Clermont, Nevers, Moulins, most people are going to Lyon but truckers will take you. Seems easy to go to Lyon from there.―Anonymous

We were two to hitchike there around 11am, we got a lift to Nevers when asking to a truck driver after 10 minutes, although the station wasn't really busy.It's easy to reach from Paris and a good way to avoid trafic jam in the suburbs of the city.

Go to Nemours with a train from Paris Gare de Lyon (1 hour approximately). Then 30min walking (http://tinyurl.com/2bs24sf). There youare on the paying section of the highway, so there are no suburbian people or so.―Anonymous
