J'ai pris le bus 29 jusqu'à l'impasse des horticulteurs. Au bout, il faut passer à droite du portail, marcher un peu, et à gauche on voit le chemin pour escalader la butte. Le grillage est ouvert à cet endroit.―Anonymous

great to Paris but not the best to Brittany indeed.Super pour Paris mais pour la Bretagne il vaut mieux essayer de rejoindre un péage sur l'A83 : moins de monde mais toutes les voitures vont vers Nantes.

Total petrol station. Not very crowded but one in four driver is going to the highway. Ask for a ride to "La Crèche", this is the entrance of the highway. Average waiting time of 15 minutes. The staff is nice to hitchhikers, don't forget to say hi when you arrive. :)―Anonymous

Direction North : Very Good spot to go up north (Paris). direction Paris : 5-15min to wait.If you're going to Brittany/Breizh; then It can be longer. I had to wait for around 1h30 !

Toll, direction Brittany/Breizh. Not a lot of cars but they all go there. If you arrive from Bordeaux with someone who stop in Niort, better ask to be dropped here than at the "aire du Poitou-Charentes". A sign is helpful.―Anonymous

très bon spot pour sortir de niort (direction sainte/bordeaux) et avec de la place pour que les voitures s’arrêtent. seul problème il faut y aller à pied, comptez 35 min de marche donc prévoyez de l’eau et des bonnes jambes ahahah―barish
