Direct way to Arles, but on national road, not highway. Young guy took us to nearest town, where we continued through Arles, Nimes, Montpellier and Perpignan.

Pretty fine place, lot of traffic. Two guys took us a bit further to the end of Marseille, where we continued through Arles, Nimes, Montpellier and Perpignan. Had a sign Arles.

It's a huge service station, so I wanted at the end where every car was passing by and found a ride to Toulouse! but you can go to a lot of directions!

I asked for a drive out of the city or to Paris so a guy from Alžerija took me. He took me nearby airport even tho out of his way. The man was very nice even tho not speaking much english.

I waited for 1.5 h until someone stopped. I said just drive right behind the traffic light. There we had enough time to go into the car. Afterwards we drove around the building. I waited in front of the traffic light with a sign (direction Avignion / Salon De Pce)

Attention spot en plein cagnard mais efficace. J’ai attendu à peine 10 minutes pour aller à Aix-en-Provence.

Tried another spot closest to the exit and asked directly to people. Nothing happened. Stayed on this point and had someone 10mn later for a ride to Aix en Provence. Been lucky! Thanks Marie-Jo!

Came here 21:45 in the evening.
We were three people, but even so we got a ride with not waiting long. People here were all very nice and wanted to help. Just such a jolly place!

I came here around 7 pm on a Monday, got a lift to Marseille after less than 10 mins. However, cars go fast here and I feel like it was my luck.. Nice spot 🍀

got a lift of out marseille after hours to this gas station, which has loads of cars coming and going (at least between 3PM and 4PM while i was there). i asked everyone a lift to Nimes with my broken french, and for what i understood there were loads of locals, and people directed to Marseille
eventually got a lift to arles

A truck driver helped me asking around other truck drivers to take me to Nice. It's a big parking lot, it's a great point. Just ask around or use translator, people are very kind here.

We were stood with a sign for “A8 Nice” which was a dodgy move given the circumstances. Everybody was stopped for lunch, and we absolutely needed somebody who was passing Aix-En-Provence because there’s nowhere to stop before there and you don’t want to be caught in the city, the majority of the trafic is headed on the A7 to Marseille so for there you’d have no troubles at all! Eventually we were approached by this lovely hippy family who gave us a ride up the motorway to another service station on the A8.

We stood at the exit of the roundabout, right onto the entry of the peage. Got a ride in just under 10 minutes to l’aire de Lançon with a sign saying “A7 SUD”
Important to specify north or south cause trafic goes both ways. To get here, ride the bus C2 to the stop Buld’air, then it’s only a short walk. An added bonus is that the bus stop is at an ikea, meaning cardboard for signs is incredibly easy to source!
