The Cyclers area.
It's identified with the monument on the entrance with cyclists. Major stop for trucks that go to Italy or Spain.

Around 30 minutes wait on a late Thursday evening (18:30).

I had a big back pack with me and 2 card boards. One with a "next gas station symbol", and the other with Bayonne.

The traffic was very low as it was already 6:30 pm. Apparently there is no traffic at all after 7:30 pm (according to a guy working on the station).

I was picked up by a driver who dropped me at the Orthez toll where I could continue towards Bayonne.

good place to go to Toulouse. But we wanted to get to Foix do not taking A64. Don't do that. Local roads are like a noodle. It's exhosting experience - 152 km for 10 hours !!

June 2014
Easily got a ride to Toulouse.
Next to the toll there´s a cozy toilet, good to pass the night. We also encountered some people already camping in nearby woods.

This is a great place for heading both east (Toulouse) and west (Bayonne). It's between two roundabouts and there's a bus stop, so the cars are very slow and have a place to stop. I didn't wait for more than a minute.

N21 leading to Tarbes, Pau, Toulouse.
It is better to go from rounabout closer to gas station as there is more space.
