Tried to go south to Dijon, but most cars went west or even North/East, because there is a bridge to the other side of the highway wich quite a few people take. Eventually I had to take a ride into a slidely different direction than planned. But it tourned out very nice!

Interesting spot. The service station is quite dead. But it is possible (and also legal I think) to stand next to the Autobahn, since they are going relatively slow there. There is also space for the cars to stop but no one did. Eventually I got a Truck driver from the Service Station.

Ĉi tie mi jam uzis ŝildon skribita "FR" por vidi ĉu iu kondukus min almenaŭ al la limo, sed feliĉe, mi rapide trovis paron irantan al Nancio, ili revenis de metala koncerto ie en Germanio. Ni aŭskultis iom da bona metalo kaj ili eĉ donis al mi 50 eŭrojn, dankon multe, metalula paro.

Alvenante en Francion oni jam povas vidi kiel aferoj ŝanĝiĝas.

to Metz, To Brussels. You can stay before or after traficlights. Write down your destination place. Better to hhike in the mornings here.

It looks like good but traffic is not enough fluid. We were two guys going to Strasbourg. We stayed there for 5hs and then decided to come back to the centre of Nancy.

The next Service Station to the North is in about 20 Kilometers right before Pont-a-Mousson (so in case the driver goes to Pont-a-Mousson he could drop you at this station).

There it is very easy to find cars to Metz/ Netherlands/ Luxenburg. some cars also go to the North of Germany but it is very difficult to find cars in the direction Saarbrücken.

Very good spot for going to Metz.

If you stand before the bus stop cars can pull over and stop there or in the very small lane just before the bus stop.

I used this spot more than 20 times and always waited about 30 minutes.

tuesday morning.rain,1.5 hours..not the best expierience.But i don't know how to place the new point so i just have to recommend you to go after the last crossroad before the highway starts. there were 2 other HH girls hitching and we all got a ride from the spot i mentioned instead of this bus stop

It is a good spot for going to Metz. Usually I waited about 30 to 45 minutes, which isn't great, but in the end somebody stopped.

maybe it is in the morning better, but in general, the little curve and the small exit (before the motorway starts) where cars could pick you up, is not really considered as a spot but rather deter the drivers from stopping here. I stood after the traffic lights, so maybe 200 metres before the beginning of the motoway, but I gave up after 90 minuts (6pm) because nobody heading to metz was willing to drive me at least to the next service station.
