Usually a good spot if you want to go to Valenciennes (everyone seemed to be going there) and further down to Paris. I wanted to go to Lille though and it took me a full 3 hours to find someone. I did find a right directly to my destination though, they even did a detour for me, so that was super sweet. It was pretty late at that point (I waited from 7 to 10 pm so I imagine that it was getting late might have toggled a little pity)

Found a car in the direction of Mons, France pretty fast by asking around. A lovely person too that gave me control of the aux.

More people going to the Netherlands than Liège but I still found a ride there in under 30 minutes. Even got approached back! Bonus points for the cute dog I got to have on my lap (not reflected in the rating.)

The door was not open, but you can follow the wall/fence until it ends, climb down a small hill towards the autoroute and then jump the (second, smaller) fence. Sounds more complicated than it ended up being, the fence is even a little bent down and there's trees to help. Lots of local cars but I still found people going through Lille to Mons within 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this spot to get out of Paris to the North.

Free toilets (thank you, France) and a busy gas station with lots of traffic to Lille and Paris. Look out for cars with the numbers 75 for Paris proper or 91/92/93/94/95 for the suburbs. Found a ride to St-Denis in less than half an hour. Generally really helpful and friendly folks there.

Don´t get stuck in Valenciennes. No places for cars to stop. (except for a almost abandoned gastation and a narrow roundabout'

We didn't have time to put up a stop sign, we were standing on the entry of the station and someone pulled over for us. Pretty fast go.

Direction : France, Paris

Last station before the border. Gas is cheaper in Belgium so people stop here to fill their tanks before entering France.

Good point if your driver goes not so far further and you have still a long way...

Great spot as a lot of cars are going to Paris/France from there. It's a big station so there are lots of chances to get a ride. I've been waiting right next to the building (there is a side walk along the wall) and I stood there for 5 minutes until I got a ride (straight) to Paris!

We waited one hour to get a ride to Holland. Most cars are going towards Liege, Luxembourg or Germany, but nearly non towards Brussels, Antwerp or the Netherlands.

We waited for over 2,5 hours here and still couldn't get a ride in the direction of Reims here, because EVERYONE went to Paris
